They can come in many different colours and breeds. They can have lots of really fluffy fur. They should be brushed daily. Some Pomeranians are like velcro. Many come inside will a twig or to in there fur. Pomeranians can be very quick and smart. They have a ton of personality. Some Pomeranians are small and others are big. They can be difficult to train. Pomeranians can bark a lot. That can be stopped by training them not to.

Spring Break

Today I went horse back riding with Natasha, Kimberly, and Liette. We were riding for 2 and a half hours. On the ride we crossed a river. After we crossed the river we had to go up a fairly steep hill. THere was a tree that was across the road so we had to get off the horses and walk them under it. The tree was to low for us to ride under. Part way through the trail we stopped so that the horses could eat some grass. After the ride we un saddled the horses and brushed them. Then we brought Journey out of the pen and brushed her up so we could put a saddle on her and get her used to having somebody on her back. Journey is almost ready to be ridden. Liette is thinking about selling Amara, Shadow, and Journey. She might not sell Amara because she has all ready sold her twice and ended up with her again. The first time the new owners didn’t feed her so Liette took her back. The second time the new owners couldn’t afford her anymore. I hope that she doesn’t sell her. Liette isn’t going to sell until her house sells because some of us ride those horses. Liette told me that it costs $32.00 a day just for hay to feed the horses.

March 24, 2011 spring break

Today I went horses back riding. While we were waiting for Liette to get home we cleaned the barn and the tack/hay shed. Liette has 4 Pomeranian’s. There names are Kea, Puffin, Cricket, and Diva. Then she has two other dogs. There names are Tacony and Tundra. Tacony is a puppy Tundra is really old. I got to ride Amara. Natasha got to ride Breo. Asia got to ride Shadow. Liette road Sweet Pea. When we were riding Breo started cantering down the trail with me sister riding him. She had troubles stopping him. There was a tree across the path that was about a foot and a half off the ground Shadow, Breo, and Amara jumped it. I didn’t even know that Amara was going to jump the tree. It was my very first time jumping. We had to cross around 4 rivers. We rode in Mystic forest or woods. I forget which one. The ride was about 2 or 2 and a half hours long. By the time we got back it was around 7:30 P.M. After the ride we helped feed the horses and change around who got what stall in the barn. i

My spring break

Over spring break I went to one of my neighbor’s house. She has 6 horses. There names are Shadow, Amara, Sweet Pea, Breo, Dakota, and Journey. Yesterday I went on a trail ride with Natasha, Asia, and Liette(Lee et). It was a lot of fun. Before we went on the ride we had to catch them brush them, and saddle them up. I rode Amara Natasha rode Breo Asia rode Shadow and Liette rode Sweet Pea. The ride was 2 hours long. When we were riding the horses there was a big tree that fell and it was to high to jump over and to low to go under. We had to get off the horses and walk them down into the ditch and under the highest part of the log. When we got back we got my brothers and their friends to get some ribbon, food, and elastics for us. We put ribbon and braids in their tails and mains. Later in the day we took 3 of the horses for a walk down the road. When we got back we had to pick their feet.

Horses

Horses come in many different colours. There are many different types and sizes of horses. Did you know that there is over 400 different types of horses? Horses can be black, white, multi colours, brown and more. Horse were one of the first forms of transportation. Some people hook horses up to carriages or buggies and ride in whatever the horse is towing. Horses can can swim in water. Some even enjoy it. There are miniature Shetland ponies that people keep in their house – stinky! The miniature ones can’t be rode though. Some horses are gigantic. You have to saddle break a horse if you already haven’t, before you ride it. Word of advice, don’t ride a horse that doesn’t like you.
